Living Streets - Living Streets are the champions of streets and public spaces for people on foot. They work on practical projects to create safe, vibrant and healthy streets for all.

The British Horse Society is the UK's largest and most influential equestrian charity. It is committed to improving the welfare of horses and ponies, through education and training, and promoting the interests of its membership of horse riders and owners.

Horse riders may use bridleways, byways, RUPPs and BOATs and unclassified roads (UCRs, which may be found on the Highways Department’s List of Streets and marked on to your OS map); carriage drivers may use all of these except bridleways. Both horse riders and carriage riders have the right, of course, to use the metalled roads, except motorways.
