Overlooking the Weald, Linton is an attractive village. Linton Park was,
until recently, the superbly sited home of the Cornwallis family.
The 13th Century church of St Nicholas contains an interesting and varied
collection of monuments, including some by E H Baily, who sculptured the
figure of Nelson in Trafalgar Square.
